Kristen Ingram Shelton is the Director of Sales for the Candlewood Suites, Virignia Beach, as well as the Government Travel Advisor for Landmark Hotel Group.  She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Longwood University in Farmville.  Upon graduation she worked as a College Admissions Counselor at the University for 2 years before transitioning into the hospitality industry in 2005.  She worked at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach as a Sales Manager for a year and a half before finding her current home at Landmark Hotel Group, where she has been since 2005.  Kristen started at Landmark as the Director of Sales for Candlewood Suites, Virginia Beach, VA and has transitioned into a position as the Government Sales Advisor for the company. Other hotels in her portfolio are the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Virginia Beach, VA, Howard Johnson Resort, Virginia Beach, VA, Hilton Garden Inn, Suffolk, VA, Candlewood Suites, Richmond Airport, VA, Comfort Inn South, OBX, NC, and Comfort Inn North, OBX, NC.
